haha, i too just got myself a new computer a couple weeks ago

i7-930, 5770, 2 1TB hdds, 6 gigs ddr3
and liquid cooled. although i really wish my case didn't come with the blue lit front fans

i got one for the computer then removed 1 from my external hdd that i used with my laptop, i still have 2 500s sitting needing a home

SSDs read faster than HDDs, but they write slower.  This is why they're better to put your OS on it, but keep data on a HDD.  Not to mention the grotesque cost per GB.

I also got one of those 11" Alienware M11x laptops not too long ago. ULV C2D SU7300, Nvidia GT335M, 4GB, 250GB, with a Razer Orochi mouse. Pretty powerful little machine that can do 7/8 hours on battery with switchable Intel graphics.
