It was shorter than I expected, on easy, probably 8 hours? Could be less even.

Co-Op on live with four people on legendary sounds like Fun.

I played Halo 3 co op with my brother last night on his 360 when I went over to visit. It's very cool, nothing ground breaking but oh lawdy are them graphics tasty! I especially like what they've pulled off with the cinema mode.

Also, we found a skull on the second level and I ended up carrying it to the end of the stage... what do you have to do with them? Kill 100 brutes? Because god knows how many Brute skulls I caved in with it.

You don't kill anyone with it, when you find a skull, it alters the settings of the game, certain skulls do certain things. Like for example, if you find a skull, theres one setting where it makes it that the grunts/brutes/etc throw like 100x more grenades then they usually do. You also get achievement points with your xbox 360 profile if you collect the gold skulls, 10 points for each golden skull you find. Theres more stuff to them but i don't feel like typing it out. ;p

Maybe this one made it easier to kick arse in close combat? Because I'm sure that Brutes shouldn't go down that easily on Heroic.

The skull is a one hit melee kill in both signle player, and multi player. Because it's the only thing you can equip if your holding it.

Also in order to use the skulls you have to activate them before starting the game missions.
