Congratulations, folks. In a couple more weeks we would have been celebrating the one year anniversary of the day the Wiki exploded. But instead, we can celebrate it's long overdue recovery!
The issues were caused by an upgrade of MediaWiki that required PHP5 support on a server that wasn't quite set up for it. One tweak lead to another and a lack of disaster recovery planning on our part lead to a huge mess and no solution in sight. Luckily we were eventually upgraded out of the stone age to a server with PHP5 installed and just recently able to gain shell access to our (shared) web server and run some scripts to repair the old MySQL database to read the way the newer PHP code was expecting. There still seems to be an issue with the way Apache is handling php v5 code when not explicitly loaded with a .php5, but I'm hoping to resolve that with some .htaccess tweaks.
The only downside to our fix is that any old links will not work (because of the .php extension and a change in the way the MediaWiki works URLs), but all of the old data is definitely there.

So, we may want to consider some sort of IDing with edits to the Wiki. I've personally found several defamatory edits throughout the wiki by anonymous posters. I've also found bots who have edited entries with garbage.

The only editing I did was adding a big bold message at the top of Bunny's page.
Also, you deleted all of Yoda Baseball instead of Yoda Baseball (talk)
